Amber & Alistair

Amber & Alistair had the most beautiful, intimate London Wedding. They chose to get married at The Guard’s Chapel at Birdcage Walk in London, as it was a very special place for Amber’s family and  her dear late father, Baronet Sir Nicholas Nuttal.

Amber wore the most elegant Amanda Wakeley dress, with her beautiful long hair down, in loose curls. They chose Rob Van Helden to do their flowers and he dressed the Chapel in gorgeous cream roses and eucalyptus and hundreds of candles.

After the most beautiful ceremony, the guests strolled through St James Park to the sound of the Queen’s Piper, as the sun went down…We were joined by Biggles, their brand new puppy Daschund, who trotted along with Amber & Alistair, enjoying the delights of St James’s Park as he went.

When the guest arrived at Inn The Park they were greeted with hot cups of Mulled wine and delicious sandwiches and cakes. All the children played and the grownups laughed and chatted and ate scones with strawberry jam and sipped champagne.

After the most heart warming speeches, they cut their wonderful Wedding cake, that cleverly combined both their family Crests. Then their guests merrily made their way back through the park. Before Amber left, she throw her bouquet, which was rather masterfully caught by her step daughter, the very beautiful Amelie, who was absolutely thrilled with her catch!

In true London Style, Amber & Alistair headed off into night in a Black London cab as their guests waved them farewell… Such a beautiful, happy & love filled day. Congratulations Amber & Alistair, a more life loving, joyous, and deeply in love couple, there never was…

Katherine & Andrew

Katherine & Andy got married at her parents beautiful stone cottage, in Suffolk in the tiny little church over the road from the house. I knew I was in for a treat when I was told Katherine’s father had written all the music for the ceremony and a full orchestra and choir were being squeezed into the church to perform it. You’ve never heard such beautiful music and to know it had been written and performed just for you, must have been so very special for the couple.

After the ceremony, everybody wandered over the road to the grounds of the cottage, where guests enjoyed cups of tea and sandwiches and sipped champagne as the sun shone.

Then the guests headed to a beautiful marquee in the grounds, which had been filled with gorgeous hydrangeas, roses, peonies and delphiniums, all in my favourite shades of Pink, blue & lilac. It looked breathtaking  and their cake was decorated with two of my favourite things: Peonies and bows! I loved spending the day with Katherine & Andy and their wedding day was an absolute treat…

Katherine took the time to write me the most touching letter and I have to say its one of the kindest and loveliest things I’ve ever read. It bought a tear to me eye. Thank you Katherine & Andy for choosing me and making me feel like I have the best job in the world xxx

“L.U.C.Y T.A.N.N.E.R  I am quite speechless.  The photos you took are just absolutely sensational.  I could NEVER have hoped to have SO many great shots from the day. I feel like I am eternally indebted to you!!!

You have really brought out the absolute best in everyone who had their photo taken by you…I am truly honoured that you were my photographer!!!!  I can’t say that enough.

You really captured the day and so much more…I have never had such photos taken of me EVER!!!!!  Aside from your incredible talent I think you are so incredible in the energy you give off which just put me so at ease and I think I fed off you all day!!  They look so amazingly natural, but not natural because natural photos can never be that good…It is all your talent hard at work…You just got SO many great shots!!

I just don’t know how to convey the joy and happiness I feel from these photos.  To use my dad’s words he said “she certainly did you proud” I don’t think you could have captured any more or any better.  You are a masterful talent!

Well Lucy Tanner, it was so amazing to meet you and have been one of your subjects…  It was a truly incredible day and I was thrilled with it all.  And to get these photos, the whole thing is ending on such a high! People honestly have not stopped talking about you since the wedding!  You are an incredible woman. It has been so inspiring meeting someone like you, you have made such a huge impression on me….Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

I will be eternally grateful!!!

Lots of love,

Katherine xxxxxx

Claire & Joe

Claire & Joe got married at the wonderful Ham Yard Hotel in London.

Claire looked so elegant in her amazing Carolina Herrera Dress. I was so excited when I saw the dress, as it’s just so beautiful and modern and perfect and of course, she  looked incredible.

Their intimate ceremony took place on the beautiful roof terrace. Their guests sat on sofas and sipped champagne and watched the lovely couple say their vows, in the presence of their beautiful daughter Freya, who was a little bridesmaid.

The roof Terrace was filled with lanterns and succulents and delphiniums, all created by the brilliant Inspired Floristry and the lanterns glowed as they sipped champagne, as the sun went down over London.

The guests then headed down into a private dining room for the most lovely dinner and they danced the night away… One of my favourite weddings of last summer.

I was so touched to receive this little message from Claire about her Grand mother, who is the lovely lady in Blue with the bright sparkly eyes…

“Im just going through your photos again…They really are brilliant. It makes us so happy looking at them…My grandmother died last week. She made a huge effort to make it the first half of wedding and you took some amazing photos of her… You captured her beautifully. They are the perfect way to remember her….I just wanted to say another big thank you!”

Tammie & Rob

Tammie & Rob chose The Penthouse & Pavilion at The Dorchester for their gorgeous London Wedding. It is just the prettiest venue and perfect for the intimate ceremony, with just their closest friends and family.

Tammie wore the most incredible Oscar de la Renta dress with gorgeous Charlotte Olympia shoes. She looked totally glamorous and took everybody’s breath away when she walked in the room.

After a lovely drinks reception, all the guests headed to The Natural History Museum by Routemaster London Bus, where Tammie & Rob were greeted by more guests. Everybody dined under the magnificent Iconic Dinosaur at tables full of cream Roses, Hydrangeas and Herbs, all created by the brilliant florist, Paul Hawkins.

The Wedding Favours were made by Tammie’s lovely friend and owner of Tuck Box Cakes. He created hundreds of gorgeous, glittering Dinosaur cookies, all made lovingly, by hand.

I absolutely love these two. They were just so lovely to be around and I fell in love with their wonderful family too. It’s really quite a big deal to share such a special day like this…You end up feeling like you are part of it all and kind of sad it only gets to be for just one day.

“Just a quick email to say that we think you are a total mega star! Thank you so much, it was such a pleasure to have you there… I’ve just looked through them and I LOVE THEM! I’ve already cried. Thank you so much Lucy - you are amazing XXX”
